We're Doing This!

Just kidding, my dad was thrilled when I made the baby announcement (we waited six years). But way less thrilled when we told him about our plan to take a year off and travel Western Europe with his grandson while spending our hard earned savings. Yeahhhh I guess I can see why. 

Yep, you heard right- Dustin is taking off a year of work as a family medicine doctor in Utah and we are going to travel Europe as a family.

Dustin has been the braver of the two of us. There hasn't been a moment where he has worried that the money we spend won't be worth it. Me on the other hand? I'm doing weekly pep-talks at this point. My dreams of a home are dwindling, and I'm trading a downpayment on a future home for the trip of a lifetime. 

Stay tuned for the ups and downs and the places we will go all while toting a toddler around. We plan on blogging and instagramming our way through Europe, and posting what we learn along the way. There is a lot we don't know (which is terrifying for me), so I'm livin' on a prayer right now (oh, and our life savings ;)
